- To initiate and implement research activities connected directly or indirectly on the alternative uses of arecanut and its byproducts.
- To promote any activities or increase consumption of Arecanut and its byproducts in India and in foreign countries.
- To organise periodic seminars/work shops/conferences to guide and educate the agricultrists and the consumers.
- To initiate research on mechanisation in Areca cultivation,processing and to adopt the same for the benefit of the growers
- To do all that is necessary to achieve the upliftment and welfare of Areca Growers and if necassary join hands with other associations.
- To encourage inventors in the field of agriculture to obtain patents and protect their right intellectual properties.
